Business LOBBY, a platform specializing in supporting entrepreneurs and startups in Egypt, is considering a partnership with investment funds and business incubators, with the aim of expanding the scope of support provided to entrepreneurs and young people.
In an interview with reporters, Dr. Yehya Othman, CEO and founder of the platform, revealed plans to launch a specialized training academy within the next six months.
The academy will operate in cooperation with Idafa Venture Capital, targeting children and youth to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and enhance the concept of startups among them.
Othman explained that the establishment of the academy comes within the framework of the strategic partnership with the addition of Venture Capital, following an acquisition deal that took place last October of a share of Business LOBBY shares.
He added that the platform provides training and coordination services for emerging companies, and works to create opportunities to incubate these companies, through lectures and discussion sessions that link companies, investors and funding bodies, in addition to organizing competitions aimed at qualifying and supporting emerging companies.
Business LOBBY started its work in early 2023, coinciding with a number of regional and international economic crises, as the platform relied on the strategy of searching for opportunities amid crises, as a factor that helps emerging companies achieve developmental leaps.
Othman pointed out that the platform is currently studying expansion opportunities with investment funds to support emerging companies, in addition to financing the new training academy for children and youth, which will contribute to improving the performance of the Egyptian economy.
