DawaDose Closes Pre-Seed Round for Pharma Ecosystem

DawaDose, the Saudi-headquartered healthtech startup, has closed its Pre-Seed funding round with backing from a group of angel investors.

The milestone sets the stage for the company to establish its headquarters in Saudi Arabia, positioning the Kingdom as the hub for development, operations, and regional expansion across the Gulf.

Building a Digitised Healthcare Future

Founded by Rushdi Abdalghani (Co-Founder & CEO) and Osama Almabroum (Co-Founder & Business Development Lead), DawaDose is developing what it calls the region’s first fully integrated B2C and B2B pharmaceutical ecosystem.

The platform is designed to connect pharmacies, wholesalers, and consumers through secure, efficient, and accessible digital tools, directly aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

“This funding is not just capital; it’s trust — trust in our vision to digitise healthcare access across the Middle East, starting with Saudi Arabia,” said Abdalghani. Almabroum added, “We are building DawaDose as a Saudi company with a global outlook. This is just the first step toward reshaping pharmaceutical e-commerce in the region.”

Accelerating Growth and Expansion

With fresh capital, DawaDose will speed up the development of its Arabic-first AI-driven digital tools, deepen partnerships with local pharmacies and distributors, and lay the groundwork for regional expansion.

By digitising pharmaceutical access, the startup aims to bridge gaps across the healthcare supply chain, delivering greater efficiency, accessibility, and transparency for both businesses and consumers.
