AI-driven gaming takes center stage as Impact46 commits over SAR 25 million to five innovative studios, Fahy, NJD, Game Cooks, Starvania, and Alpaka, under its SAR 150 million Gaming Fund launched in March 2024.
The move reinforces the Saudi investment firm’s vision of backing high-potential founders shaping the future of digital content and interactive entertainment in the region.
The selected studios bring diverse strengths: culturally inspired mobile titles, immersive console and PC worlds, and hybrid-casual action games blending traditional mechanics with advanced AI-driven gameplay.
This variety underscores the growing technical depth and creative energy fueling MENA’s game development ecosystem.
“We see gaming as more than a sector; it’s a language of youth, culture, and creation,” said Basmah Alsinaidi, Managing Partner at Impact46. “Through these investments, we’re backing builders who aren’t just launching games, but creating the infrastructure, stories, and platforms that will define the next era of content in the region.”
The announcement builds on Impact46’s earlier 2025 investments in Spoilz, a mobile game studio creating joyful IPs, and Spekter Games, a next-gen publisher integrating Web3 incentives into mobile games for chat-based super apps.
Together, these nine companies represent a new wave of MENA ventures redefining how games are designed, distributed, and experienced.
This momentum mirrors Saudi Arabia’s rise as a global gaming hub, aligned with the National Gaming and Esports Strategy and Vision 2030.
Initiatives such as CODE by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the Saudi Esports Federation, the Esports World Cup Foundation, and Savvy Games Group are positioning the Kingdom as a launchpad for regional talent and AI-driven innovation in interactive media.
